Today’s win gave Dallas back-to-back season-opening wins for the first time since 1998 and 1999.

Marion Barber’s 80 rushing yards today gives him 2,247 for his career, moving him past Ron Springs (2,180) for 10th on the club’s all-time rushing yards list

Barber also rushed for two touchdowns today to mark the eighth multiple rushing touchdown game of his career and the 10th multiple-touchdown game of his career – including receiving touchdowns.

It also gives Barber 31 career rushing touchdowns to move past Walt Garrison and into a tie with Robert Newhouse for fifth on the club’s all-time rushing touchdowns list.

Tashard Choice made his NFL debut, and rushed for a 15-yard first down on third-and-five.

Felix Jones made his NFL debut, and on his first career carry, rushed 11 yards for his first career touchdown.

With his touchdown catch, Terrell Owens upped his career total to 130, tying him with Cris Carter for the second-most in league history.

With five catches today, Owens moved into ninth place on the NFL’s all-time receptions chart with 887 career catches, surpassing Keenan McCardell (883). He is now 13 receptions shy of becoming the eighth receiver in league history to reach 900 career catches.

With his yardage total today, Owens (13,157) also moved past Steve Largent (13,089) to claim the ninth spot on the league’s all-time receiving yardage list.

Owens now has 2,622 receiving yards for his Cowboys career, allowing him to move past Herschel Walker (2,556) for 15th in club history.

Tony Romo opened the game with nine consecutive completions. On the opening drive, he led the team to a touchdown, completing all five of his passes.

Romo also finished the game with 320 passing yards, his 11th career game with 300-or-more yards. He now trails only  Troy Aikman (13) for the most 300-yard games in Cowboys history.

Isaiah Stanback caught his first NFL pass today in the third quarter.

DeMarcus Ware had a sack in the fourth quarter of today’s game, his fourth consecutive regular season game with a sack. It was the fourth time in his career he has had at least a half sack in four consecutive games.
