The Cleveland Browns are battling injury problems. Quarterback Derek Anderson suffered a concussion against the Giants in a preseason loss. He may not play another game until September 7th against the Cowboys to open the season according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
The Giants laid a whuppin’ the Browns, who also lost starting safety Brodney Pool and tight end Brad Cieslak to concussions and linebacker Leon Williams to a neck injury.
Pro Bowl Wide receiver Braylon Edwards sufffered a freak foot injury early in camp and isn’t 100%.
Now Pro Bowl special teams ace Joshua Cribbs has a high ankle sprain. It happened in that Monday Night Debacle against the G-Men. Cribbs is the best return man in the game outside of Chicago Bear Devin Hester.
High ankle sprains take four to six weeks to heal. I doubt he will be able to play the season opener against the Cowboys and if he does…..Cribbs won’t be 100%.
