Cheating Doesn’t Matter

Bill Belichick was fined a half million dollars by the NFL for cheating with video cameras earlier this season but still won the Associated Press award for NFL Coach of the Year.

New England became the first team to finish a season 16-0. That was an amazing accomplishment, but it doesn’t wipe away the fact the NFL fined him a half mil for cheating and took away the Patriots 2008 first round draft pick.

What happened to standards?

Everyone wants to jump on Barry Bonds and Rogers Clemens for allegedly using steroids in baseball.

Belichick was told by the NFL to stop filming other clubs signals on the sidelines and he did it anyway but the AP rewarded a cheater? Go figure that out.

We used to have standards in sports.
