Notes From The Locker Room

The Cowboys have a loose locker room. Man, it seems like ages ago Dave Campo’s locker room was just tense. You could rarely find anybody to speak with during his three 5-11 seasons.

A record of 11-1 means everybody is in good mood.

DE Chris Canty had a great soundbite talking about Terrell Owens. T.O. is having a birthday bash at the Gaylord Texan tonight and he is raising money for his Catch a Dream Foundation. Canty says T.O. is a really good guy and a solid teammate. Owens will be 34 on Friday.

The public can go..if you pay at least 125 bucks. $750 is the highest price for entry.

Corner Nate Jones was in a great mood and singing on camera for Dallas Cowboys TV.

They are gearing up for the Detroit Lions on Sunday. The Lions drilled the Cowboys last year at Texas Stadium. Time for payback for linebacker Bradie James on Lions QB Jon Kitna for calling him out saying he was lost on the field in last year’s game.

James said, “I’ve never heard a quarterback saying some mess like that at the end of the game…after the game was over with. He didn’t say nothing before the game, then all of a sudden, we hear him saying something. He talked about just about everybody on the defense and singled me out. I’ll be ready. I’m looking forward to it.”

Oh yeah, I like an angry linebacker. Sounds like lots of blitzing will be going on. The Lions won’t have WR Roy Williams, so we could see James all over Kitna.
