Old Receivers Get Injured

The Giants took USC wide receiver, Steve Smith, one pick before the Cowboys in the 2nd round of the draft back in April.

I’m told the Cowboys would have taken Smith if he was on the board.

Too bad it didn’t work out. Smith is having a good camp for the Giants.

Terry Glenn is gone two weeks with a knee scope. Now Terrell Owens his having back issues. He had hamstring issues last week. The back kept him out of Sunday’s practice. The hamstring kept him out of three practices last week.

Both receivers are 33 years old.

The Cowboys will need to get younger at that position after the season. Tony Romo needs a young go to guy to grow with.

Glenn will not play in Thursday’s pre-season opener against the Super Bowl champion Colts. I wouldn’t count on seeing T.O. either.
