Ray Sherman Likes T.O.

The Cowboys let Todd Haley leave for Arizona and that may be a good thing.

Enter Ray Sherman. The new wide receivers coach.

Last year Haley and Terrell Owens did not get along. The relationship… well there wasn’t much of one after awhile.

Sherman has coached the best in the business. Jerry Rice, John Taylor, Randy Moss, and Cris Carter.

He says some of his friends told him after he agreed to join the Cowboys staff, “We’re gonna be watching you, but I tell ’em… the guys that know me… this is my 20th year in the league. One thing that I do, I know how to relate to players.”

“I’ve had high profile guys before. I don’t concern myself with that.”

T.O. has made some big long catches for TD’s early in camp. Today he burned two rookies for a score. Sherman raved, “He’s focused on what we need to do. I’ve been very pleased with his work ethic and attitude.”
