Who Said Boxing Was Dead?

Sportswriters who don’t like boxing like to say it doesn’t matter anymore.

Well the De La Hoya-Mayweather pay per view buys came out. The fight sold to 2.15 million households. At $54.95 for a revenue of $120 million dollars.

Yeah, nobody cares. Right.

I bought it. I love the fights.

Credit HBO for running the series “24/7” on the fighters.

Safe to say the rematch will happen soon. Even if Mayweather says he’s retired.
