Ben Grubbs To Cowboys At #22?

Guard Ben Grubbs is a hot name I’m seeing on mock drafts for the Cowboys.

I truly wouldn’t mind this selection. The Cowboys won titles in the 90’s with a strong offensive line. I’m not sold on Kyle Kosier being a Pro Bowl left guard for the Cowboys.

Grubbs is from Auburn and played with Chargers super rookie left tackle, Marcus McNeil in college.

If you could draft a guy like Grubbs and he plays the spot for seven years, you have to look at taking him. The Steelers did that with Alan Fancea and he’s been a Pro Bowl player for the last 9 seasons.

If the Cowboys move Leonard Davis to left tackle in 2008, Grubbs could move to the right guard spot, if the club elects to keep Kosier at left guard.
