This dude stays hurt. You can’t spell “hurt” or “Hank” without the “H”.
The Rangers put their 3rd baseman on the 15-day D-L with inflammation in his right shoulder.
Let’s break it down for ya….Hank can’t make that throw from 3rd base to 1st base anymore.
That is why he wanted to switch his position to first base.
Blalock has a club option for 2009. It’s worth 6 million. He won’t have it picked up. Can’t see the Rangers doing it. Chris Davis is their first baseman so I don’t see Blalock being a Ranger after the season.
BTW, shortstop Michael Young is playing tonight. He’s got a broken ring finger.
